Central Region Eating Disorder Services

Welcome to the Central Region Eating Disorder Services (CREDS) website. We are operated by the Hutt Valley District Health Board, and provide specialist services to people with eating disorders in the greater Wellington area.

We offer a full range of services to people in the community - from training and nutritional counselling right through to residential care. For a detailed description of the services we provide, please click here.

Please note that we are only able to provide treatment and therapy services to people with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa or EDNOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified). We do not provide services to people with compulsive eating or binge eating disorder at this time.

To be re-directed to the Hutt Valley District Health Board website, simply click on the HVDHB logo above. Alternatively, HVDHB can be contacted on (04) 566 6999.

CREDS would like to acknowledge and thank 'Eating Disorder Services' (EDS) for the information available on this site. EDS was the former provider of specialist eating disorder services in Wellington, and has kindly agreed to allow CREDS to adopt much of its online resources. CREDS is happy to continue the work of EDS by making them available to the community in this way.
